In Norse mythology Odin had two ravens, named Huginn and Muninn, often translated as 'Thought' or 'Mind' and 'Memory'. These ravens served as Odin's messengers and scouts, exploring the world of men, and gathering information, sharing their knowledge with the god of wisdom, war, and magic.
