I am a professional portrait artist, experienced in capturing the personality of your subject, transforming cherished photographs into bespoke works of fine art.

 

I use a blend of soft pastel and charcoal to create stunning, realistic images of your loved one, from humans to horses and guinea pigs, no-one is too big, or too small. Using my natural empathy, I capture the light inside the eyes and bring out the true personality of my subjects.  I frequently hear: 'You've really got his expression,' and 'You have captured his personality'. I pride myself on creating art works that will resonate with you.

Working collaboratively, we will discuss what you are looking for from your portrait, and if needed work together to tweak things until it is exactly as you require. I am happy to work from photographs, so there is no need for you to be close by.
